Questions,
answered plainly.
The things people ask us most, with straight answers. If yours is not here, just get in touch.
How much will it cost?
Every project is quoted individually after a short chat, based on the scope. We do not publish fixed prices because no two projects are the same. You get a clear written quote before you commit, valid for 30 days.
How do payments work?
A 50% deposit books the work, and the balance is due on completion before final files are handed over. Small jobs under £300 are paid in full on completion. We accept bank transfer. Larger projects can be split into stages.
How long does it take?
It depends on the project, and on how quickly you can get us content and feedback. We give a good-faith timeline in your proposal. These are honest estimates, not fixed deadlines, and we will always keep you posted.
Who owns the finished work?
You do, once it is paid for in full. We keep the rights to our own reusable tools and methods, and you get full use of them as part of your project. Third-party items like fonts and images stay under their own licences.
What about hosting, domains, and running costs?
These are separate from our fee and usually small. You can pay the providers directly, or we can manage them for you for a small handling charge. AI tools in particular have a small ongoing usage cost, often only a few pounds a month, and we always set a spending cap.
Can AI tools make mistakes?
Yes. AI can occasionally be inaccurate or off-topic, so you should review its output before relying on it. We build in guardrails and a handoff to a human, and we are upfront about what AI can and cannot do.
Are you a cybersecurity firm?
We provide practical security guidance and awareness for small businesses. We do not offer penetration testing, forensic investigation, or certified compliance auditing, and no one can promise total protection. For enterprise needs we can point you to specialists.
How many changes can I ask for?
Your proposal states how many revision rounds are included. Once you approve the work, or once it has been live for ten working days without comment, it is treated as accepted. Further changes are quoted as extra work.
What happens after the project is finished?
You get a handover document with everything you need to run it yourself. If you would rather we look after it, an optional monthly care plan keeps things updated, backed up, and working.
Where are you based?
We are a UK-based, self-employed business and work with clients remotely. You always deal with a real person.
How do you handle my data?
We only use your information to do the work and respond to you. We never sell or share it. Where a project involves your customers' personal data, we sign a Data Processing Addendum and act under UK GDPR.
